Gabriel: This Move Has Made Me Smile

Jordan Gabriel has admitted his permanent transfer to Blackpool is a move he is over the moon with.

The right-back signed a four year contract at Bloomfield Road on Transfer Deadline Day from boyhood Club Nottingham Forest, and says the move was something he was keen on from the start given his success at the Club last season.

"I'm delighted to be here and can't wait to get going," the 22-year-old said.

"I loved my time here last season and created a lot of happy memories. I want to create even more here, and with the group that we have here, we can hopefully do that this season. To play in the Championship with Blackpool is something I'm really looking forward to, after tasting it with Nottingham Forest already this season. I've played in League Two and League One, so this is the next level.

"I'm ever so grateful to the Club for the long-term deal and to secure my future for the next few years at Blackpool is really exciting. Now I'm here, I want to play as many matches as possible, play well and importantly help the side get good results between now and the end of the season.

"You want to make everyone smile, and this move has definitely made me smile."
