Neil Critchley Named Manager of the Season at NW Football Awards

Neil Critchley has tonight been named Manager of the Season at the Northwest Football Awards.

The Seasiders' Head Coach, who was nominated alongside Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Ian Evatt (Bolton Wanderers), Leam Richardson (Wigan Athletic) and Derek Adams (Morecambe), wins the accolade after guiding the Seasiders back to the Sky Bet Championship in May.

Critchley was presented with his award in person at the event, which was held at Emirates Old Trafford.

Elsewhere on the night, Blackpool FC Community Trust scooped the Community Club of the Season accolade for teams outside of the Premier League.

Chris Maxwell and Jerry Yates missed out on awards in the League One Player of the Season and Rising Star categories, respectively.
