Preview: Coventry City (H)
Blackpool will be looking to bounce back from the weekend defeat, as Coventry City visit Bloomfield Road on Tuesday evening for a 7:45pm kick-off.
The Seasiders welcome the Sky Blues on the back of Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Cardiff. Coventry, meanwhile, have won one and lost one of their two Championship fixtures so far.
A 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest on the opening day was followed by a 1-0 loss at Barnsley, with Mark Robins men looking to improve on their 16th placed finish in last season.
The Manager: Mark Robins
Mark Robins is one of the longest serving managers in the EFL, having been at Coventry since 2017. In that four year spell, the 51-year-old has guided the Sky Blues from League Two to the Championship, as well as an EFL Trophy title in his first year.
Robins also counts Huddersfield Town, Scunthorpe United, Barnsley and Rotherham United on his list of former clubs as manager.
As a player, Robins began his career at Manchester United, going on to make 48 league appearances for the Red Devils. He has also played for the likes of Norwich, Leicester and Walsall, as well as a spell in Spain.
The Key Man: Callum O’Hare
23-year-old Callum O’Hare joined Coventry on a permanent deal in 2020 after two successful loan spells from boyhood Club Aston Villa. The attacking midfielder was instrumental in the Sky Blues League One title winning season, providing assists and goals from all over the park.
