Preview: Millwall (A)
Blackpool travel to Millwall this weekend, with both sides looking for their first league win of the 2021/22 season.
Saturday's trip to the Den is the Seasiders second consecutive away league match, after last weekend's 2-2 draw at AFC Bournemouth, with Blackpool's other point coming away at Bristol City on the opening day.
Millwall also have two points from their opening four matches, having drawn against QPR and Blackburn Rovers, but suffered defeats to Fulham and Cardiff.
The Manager: Gary Rowett
Gary Rowett took charge at Millwall in late 2019, taking over from Neil Harris. The 47-year-old has enjoyed a successful managerial career to date, starting out at Burton Albion in 2012, before leaving for Birmingham City two years later.
He has also enjoyed spells at Derby County and Stoke City before his move to the Den. As a player, Rowett played for the likes of Everton, Derby and Leicester and enjoyed a brief loan spell at Bloomfield Road in 1995 under then-manager Sam Allardyce.
The Key Man: Jed Wallace
27-year-old Jed Wallace signed for Millwall in 2017 and has gone on to make 175 league appearances for the Lions. He began his career at Portsmouth, where he progressed through the Academy to go on and become a staple of the Fratton Park first-team. A big money move to Wolverhampton Wanderers followed in 2015, before several loan spells at Millwall. A permanent move to the Den then followed.

Who Comes Out On Top?
Blackpool and Millwall have met 48 times throughout history, with every match being a league encounter. The first ever match between the two sides came in 1928 when Blackpool comfortably won 3-0. The Seasiders have won 16 of the 48 matches, with Millwall winning 15. There have been 17 draws between the two sides.
We've Met Before: Dan Ballard
One of the key players in Blackpool's promotion winning campaign last season, Dan Ballard played 30 times for the Seasiders in 2020/21 whilst on loan from Arsenal. His contribution at the back helped Blackpool secure an incredible 22 league clean sheets on their way to promotion. A loan move to the Den followed at the start of this season, with Ballard playing every league match for Millwall so far.
