Preview: QPR (H)
Blackpool welcome Queens Park Rangers to Bloomfield Road on Saturday, for a 5:30pm kick-off in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Seasiders welcome Rangers on the back of Wednesday night's narrow home loss to Stoke City, which saw the side go down to tenth in the league. QPR head into the match after a 1-0 victory at Cardiff City in midweek, and head to Bloomfield Road sitting in fifth place, but just a single point better off than Pool.
The Manager: Mark Warburton
59-year-old Mark Warburton was appointed manager of QPR in May 2019, and he is therefore one of the longest serving Championship managers. With almost ten years experience as a manager, Warburton started out at Brentford, whom he guided to promotion to the Championship in 2014, after finishing runners-up in League One. He took charge of Rangers in 2015, where he took the Gers to the Scottish Championship title, as well as the Scottish Challenge Cup. A less successful spell at Nottingham Forest in 2017 followed, before he joined QPR in 2019.
The Key Man: Ilias Chair
23-year-old Ilias Chair signed for QPR from Belgian side Lierse SK in 2017 after a successful period on trial. He enjoyed a loan spell at Stevenage in the 2018-19 season, and has since gone on to make over 100 appearances for QPR. He also has five international caps for his native Morocco.
