Report: AFC Bournemouth 2 Blackpool 2

Blackpool fought back from 2-0 down to claim a point at AFC Bournemouth in a 2-2 draw.

James Husband and Jerry Yates' quick-fire goals in the second half cancelled out Dominic Solanke's brace, with the Seasiders ensuring they remain unbeaten on the road so for this season.

The hosts took the lead on just five minutes through Dominic Solanke. Junior Stanislas did well to press the ball and won possession high up the pitch. He slotted Solanke in who, up against Luke Garbutt, found the space to fire in a shot past Maxwell and into the bottom corner.

Bournemouth then made it 2-0 ten minutes later. Solanke again, this time with a glancing header after a cross from Emiliano Marcondes on the right to bundle it past the despairing Chris Maxwell.

At the other end, Luke Garbutt forced Mark Travers into a good diving save on 20 minutes, with a well drilled free kick, but the goalkeeper was equal to it.

Blackpool were creating a number of good opportunities, with Keshi Anderson striking the ball first-time after Jerry Yates lifted the ball over Lloyd Kelly to his team mate. Anderson's effort was tame though, with Travers able to hold on low and claim the ball and the Seasiders went in 2-0 down at the interval.

Josh Bowler had a glorious chance to half the deficit early into the second half, getting himself in a one on one situation with the goalkeeper. Bowler didn't make the most of it though, with his shot aimed straight at Travers.

Blackpool came out for the second half with added impetus and spirit and found themselves level with two quick fire goals on the hour mark. The first through James Husband, who latched onto the ball following a goal mouth scramble after Luke Garbutt's whipped in free kick caused havoc in the Bournemouth box. The ball smacked the post, and Husband was the first to latch onto it, poking it into the roof of the net.

Blackpool's equaliser came two minutes later. Zeno Ibsen Rossi brought down Keshi Anderson in the area, who was just about to hit it first-time. Jerry Yates stepped up and smashed penalty home to grab his first of the season and level the scores at two apiece.

Blackpool pushed for a winner, with Josh Bowler causing havoc down the right, but it wouldn't arrive and Blackpool took a point for their efforts.
