Report: Millwall 2 Blackpool 1
Blackpool suffered late heartbreak for the second time in a week, thanks to a 90th minute winner as Millwall came from behind to win 2-1 at the Den.
Shayne Lavery's goal for the ten-man Seasiders wasn't enough, as goals from Jed Wallace and Jake Cooper secured the win.
Shayne Lavery had the first real chance for the Seasiders on five minutes. A back pass to Bartosz Bialkowski in the Millwall goal was misjudged, with Lavery latching onto it before the goalkeeper. He managed to dink the shot over the keeper, but not went just wide of the far post.
Blackpool were starting brightly, but the tables turned on 15 minutes after Callum Connolly was shown a straight red card for a last ditch challenge on Benik Afobe. Scott Malone took the eventual free-kick, but Chris Maxwell was there to hold on.
With the hosts having a man advantage, they were dominating possession, but struggling to break down a stubborn and dogged Blackpool defence.
At the other end, Shayne Lavery has sight of goal after weaving his way past a defender but the shot from distance went wide of the post.
Despite being a man down, the Seasiders stood firm and went into the interval level.

Millwall had the ball in the back of the net four minutes into the second half, after a corner kick was headed in following a goal mouth scramble. The referee, though, gave a foul in the build-up, and the goal was disallowed.
The Seasiders may have been a man down, but they were a goal up just before the hour mark. A blistering counter-attack saw Josh Bowler dance past his man and play the ball forward to Shayne Lavery. Despite the defender and goalkeeper clattering into Lavery, the ball bounced underneath everyone and Lavery was ablate poke him into an empty net.
Millwall, though, were level five minutes later thanks to a free kick from 25 yards out, which was curled in by Jed Wallace.
Blackpool were really matching Millwall throughout, and with CJ Hamilton deployed up top after coming on as a substitute for Jerry Yates, his pace was causing real issues.
Despite the side's best efforts, it wasn't meant to be, as in the 90th minute, Jake Cooper bundled home a cross from the right to take all three points for the hosts.
