Seasiders Announce Partnership With Food People
Blackpool Football Club is pleased to announce a new partnership with Food People.
The go-to recruiters for anything and everything in the food industry, based in Dubai, have signed up as the Seasiders’ Official International Recruitment partner.
The branding of Food People will feature on the LED advertising system at Bloomfield Road, on the official website, in the matchday programme and within live match coverage on Tangerine TV.
Luke Truin, Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Food People, said:
“As somebody that has been a Blackpool fan since the age of three, having the opportunity to sponsor the Club is a dream come true.
“Being involved at arguably the most exciting time since I’ve followed the Club, considering the synergy between Simon, Ben, Critch, the players and the fans, is incredibly exciting to be a part of.
“The opportunity for my grandfather, David Pritty, a lifelong Seasider, to see Food People sponsor the Club is also something I simply cannot put a price on.
“As a business headquartered in Dubai, Food People have an appetite to expand internationally, including the UK, therefore the chance to partner with Blackpool FC and build our brand equity outside of the Middle East is a perfect opportunity.”
Greg Wright, fellow Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Food People, added:
“Food People find the best talent globally in the food industry for companies across the Middle East and Africa, but that’s not all, we also unlock people’s potential and push boundaries to bring fresh ideas into the food industry. From global multinationals to regional SME’s, we build real relationships that enhance teams and businesses. We are the go-to recruiters for all sectors of the food industry.
“I’m really proud to be united with the Club, not only will it help support our growth across the UK, it will also give Blackpool Football Club further reach as we share our experience with our audience across the Middle East.
“I’m excited to see where our partnership will go and look forward to visiting the Club in early 2022.”
Martin Booker, Blackpool FC’s Commercial Manager, said:
“Blackpool FC has a number of passionate fans across the globe so this is fantastic news that Food People can support the Club in this way from afar.
“This is a positive development for the Club when international businesses are attracted to advertise via the new LED technology introduced at Bloomfield Road. This weekend’s game will see Blackpool FC on the national and international stage when we make our live debut on Sky Sports in the Championship this season, which will target new audiences for our partners.
“I would like to thank Food People for choosing to partner with Blackpool FC. We look forward to working with them.”
