Chris Long became Blackpool's first signing of the January 2019 window, agreeing a contract until the end of the season.
A former England youth international, who represented his country from under-16 to under-20 level, he started his career on the books of Everton, making his first-team debut in a Europa League group stage game against Krasnodar.
In July 2015, he joined Burnley for an undisclosed fee, prior to scoring goals on loan at Fleetwood Town and Bolton Wanderers.
Last season he had a year-long loan spell with Northampton Town, where he found the net on nine occasions in Sky Bet League One.
Having moved back to Fleetwood Town in the summer of 2018, his switch to Bloomfield Road saw him reunited with manager Terry McPhillips, who coached him as a player in the Everton academy.
He made his Blackpool debut as a substitute at Portsmouth, coming off the bench to score the winner.
