Danny Philliskirk was used in a number of positions during his 24 appearances in the 2016/17 season.
Signed from Oldham Athletic for an undisclosed fee in January 2016, Philliskirk bagged five times for Pool the previous season, but couldn’t prevent relegation.
The versatile attacker started his career with his hometown club before moving to Chelsea as a teenager. Stints at Sheffield United and Coventry City followed, prior to returning to Boundary Park in 2013.
He has since made 124 appearances for The Latics and departed having scored a total of 25 goals for the club.
Philliskirk made his Blackpool debut against Port Vale in January 2016 and his first goal followed a week later in a 5-0 win over Scunthorpe United.
Injury affected his start to the new season and Philliskirk was often used out wide, particularly off the bench during the latest campaign.
