Will Aimson made 31 appearances during his first full season at Bloomfield Road.
The centre-half joined Blackpool from Hull City in January 2016, having previously spent two months on loan with the club.
Aimson, who’d also spent time with Eastleigh and Tranmere Rovers, is now up to 47 appearances for Pool.
The defender performed well as part of both a back two and three and remains in contract for the 2017/18 season.
