Blackpool welcome Wrexham to Bloomfield Road on Easter Monday as they look to close the gap to the play-off places with four games to go in Sky Bet League One.
The Seasiders picked up all three points on Good Friday against Stevenage thanks to a 12 minute hat-trick from academy graduate Rob Apter.
Pool’s opponents for the second match of their Easter double header, drew with relegation threatened Bristol Rovers on Friday.
Opposition In Focus:
The Red Dragons have had a brilliant campaign back in Sky Bet League One following promotion to the third tier last year. Wrexham, currently sit in third place in League One, one point behind Wycombe Wanderers, who currently hold the last automatic promotion place.
Before Good Friday’s 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers the Welsh side were in the driving seat but they will now have to rely on the Chairboys slipping up in their final three games of the season. Although Wrexham are unbeaten in their last seven, three draws in their last four have seen them lose their top two spot.
The Red Dragons have the top provider in the league in their side in Ryan Barnett, who has provided 9 assists so far this season, one more than Seasiders pair Ashley Fletcher and Albie Morgan. Arthur Okonkwo in the Wrexham goal has also kept the joint most clean sheets in the league alongside Birmingham City’s Ryan Allsop.
