Blackpool make the trip south to take on Northampton Town at Sixfields in Sky Bet League One.

The Seasiders will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Leyton Orient at Bloomfield Road.

Saturday’s opponents picked up a valuable point at home last weekend, drawing 1-1 with league leaders Birmingham City.

Opposition In Focus:

Northampton sit in 19th place in the third tier following a four game unbeaten run in the League One.  Kevin Nolan’s side drew with Birmingham last time out after picking up a vital three points against Leyton Orient.

The Cobblers are six points above the relegation zone with nine games to go, meaning they are still fighting for every point with Burton Albion continuing to pick up results in 21st place.  Nolan’s side have only lost two of their last nine matches.  Nolan arrived two days before Christmas after Jon Brady resigned at the start of December.
