Bio

Rob Apter has progressed through the youth team at Blackpool to go on and become a mainstay in the first-team.

He made his debut in November 2020 in an EFL Trophy match against Leeds United, before making his league debut for the Seasiders two months later in the 5-0 victory at Wigan Athletic.

Impressive loan spells at Bamber Bridge and Chester followed, with Apter appearing for Blackpool's first-team throughout the pre-season campaign of the 2022/23 season before a move to Scunthorpe United on loan until January 2023.

Rob spent the first half of the 2023/24 campaign on loan at Tranmere Rovers in Sky Bet League Two, before signing a new deal with the Seasiders and returning to Brunton Park where he won Sky Bet League Two Young Player of the Season.

In his first full season with Blackpool's first-team Apter played all but one league match, scoring eight times in Sky Bet League One.  The wide man, who constantly caused League One defences problems, ended his first season in the third teir with 16 goal involvements across all competitions.
